Dragonhawk: OK, Thurirl put a token near the ladder on GoblinsDoomPass

Dragonhawk: Everyone else put their tokens south of the Hole

Malaina: If my token is pasting, i can’t see it

Dragonhawk: It came in off to the side for some reason

Malaina: I think there is another token

Dragonhawk: we’re going to take the loose squared between the two circlesque areas as representative of the start and end of the long spiral; the hole is obviously the far end, the non-hole part is where the Varis and Nightscale are still trying to make a new opening in the original opening.

Dragonhawk: …init seems not to have saved properly, so I’ll need another minute or three to go find all the numbers

Thurirl is at the bottom of a hole, facing 9 warriors, their chief, their Shaman, and the shaman’s apprentice in a round-ish meeting of tunnelways. Jessaila is immediately above him, up a ladder Malaina and Isabis are ~60’ of spirlaing tunnel above Jessaila Seian is squished under a low section of cave, inching back to the top of the tunnel, where he will then have ~90’ of tunnel to move down… While Nightscale and the two Varis are still facing the ‘door’ where the cave opening used to be, and seriously considering making more acid fumes which will roll down the tunnel, making any skin they come in contact with itch due to light chemical burns. All in all, an awkward situation…

Malaina and Isabis have a full-round movement each just to get to the stairs; Seian needs two to finish squeezing under the low spot and get down there.

  • Malaina takes the full round to get to the stairs
    Malaina runs up beside Jessaila; she can see goblins below in the pit with Thurirl

    Malaina: “Hang on Thurirl, we’re on our way down!”
  • Seiankornai scrabbles through the rock, leaving gouges in the stone (still in Rage stance), as he moves towards the source of comfort food.
    Seian catches up to about the place Isabis and Malaina started from
  • Nightscale spits acid at the door again, outlining the spot she’s trying to weaken with her claws. More acidic fog boils off and rolls down the tunnels, making people’s ankles itch.

  • Thurirl tries not to breathe deep.
    Dragonhawk: Remember, the fumes are heavier than air; they are cascading down the hole in a waterfall-like effect (not to be confused with the actual miniature waterfall that was there for a few minutes due to Jessaila’s ‘create water’ spell)

Jessaila: ((How far to the bottom of the hole?))

Dragonhawk: For the most part, breathing is safe – maybe not if you stand right under the ladder – it’s the feet that are picking up chemical burns.

  • Seiankornai is glad he has tough scales
    The ladder is only perhaps 10’ tall; however, all the tunnels here slope downward in the direction which is “away from the high entrance” as well; you dropped perhaps 10’-15’ running down the spiral, for example.
  • Jessaila makes a graceful sommersault as she drops down the hole to land on her feet.
    Jessaila: It’s a good thing she’s flexible. « 1d20+15 = 8 + 15 = 23 » Acrobatics.
